Was waiting to help my brother move in today, and decided to practice panning moving cars. I learned a whole lot about what to do, and what not to do, but I was still pleased with a few of them. This is perhaps the best one I got for the day, of a tan brown van moving down the street.

My 5 bits of wisdom for future use
1) Turn of IS...
2) Focus near the front of the camera
3) Try to keep the camera level, so that part of the car isn't turned. It looks really funny to have one tire look nearly perfect and the other off the ground.
4) Clean up dust specks from the sensor beforehand, they do show up and they are harder to clean than ones in the sky.
5) Make sure to turn camera to burst mode (I did manage to figure this one out in the field, but it took a while...)

Hope you enjoy!
